This therapeutic series is based on Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, PRYT, an effective body-based method of connecting body and mind.
Listening to your body grounds you in your present moment ultimately enabling you to live with more resilience, ease, and empowerment.
Each week’s 2 hour gathering includes yoga and a sharing circle.
Yoga is about learning through direct experience and you will be given the tools to discover what enables you to create meaningful change. The first portion of each gathering you will be on your yoga mat and you will be guided through theme-based mindful movement, do-able postures, meditation, breath, and self-inquiry.
After the process of going inward and learning experientially, we will move to the chairs and couches for a sharing circle. This circle is an opportunity to be heard, and hear another.
People have experienced this approach as being helpful for mental health, stress management, sleep, and chronic pain/tension.
